This Council is a vast Scientific Laboratory
within which we find seven distinct ashrams,
even if 5.5 and 5.6 can be confused with each other.

This column is unique in relation to the human kingdom. The fifth plane of mind is the sphere of man's major activity. It is in this dimension that we find tthree versions of mind:

1. The abstract or higher mind, operating at the "soul" level.

2. The concrete or lower mind, which isthe highest aspect of the lower

3. The Solar Angel, the pure Son of Mind, who is the point of unification for the higher mind and the lower mind.

All this has power in connection with the fifth root-race and with the transference of the
consciousness of humanity into the fifth or spiritual kingdom.

It is here that mankind deals with Truth, Science, and down-to-earth Concrete Intelligence, which are primarily the Sciences of name and form, sound and vibration,
with physical manifestation and manipulation.

Council number 5 is governed by the fifth ray of Concrete Science.

This ray displays a lemon yellow color as it descends through the causal aura onto the crown of the head in those who incarnate under its influence.

Among individuals, this is neither an especially common ray, nor is it rare. It gives rise to the scientist, the mathematician, the Qabalist, the astrologer, and the detective.

The special quality of the fifth ray is an analytical, deductive, formal mind that displays unwearying patience, thoroughness, and a scientific methodology, particularly in the repeated examination and classification of intricate and minute detail.

In the early stages of development, the chief interest is in physical science. Later, this interest may become extended into occult (hidden), abstract, and metaphysical dimensions.

Highly-held virtues include truth, mental detachment, deduction, and accuracy of observation.

Falsehood, ignorance, inaccuracy, and a biased mind are considered to be the greatest evils.

This is the ashram of the cosmic designer.

This is the officer-guardian of the ineffable design of nature and consciousness.

The "G" is a relatively modern rendering of the ancient spiral symbol of a Galaxy - as found in petroglyphs everywhere on the planet.

The primary, underlying blueprint or Divine Plan that connects all processes in all realms.

The Unified Field Theory attempts to tie together all known phenomena to explain the nature and behavior of all matter and energy in existence.

This would reconcile seemingly incompatible aspects of various field theories, and create a single comprehensive set of equations.

This would unlock the secrets of nature, including such benefits as time travel and an inexhaustible source of clean energy.

He is believed to have been the Apostle Paul of Tarsus and the Neo-Platonic philosopher Iamblichus.

The energies are not de-coupled, separated, or broken down into radiative attributes. This is based on an equation that includes a consciousness constant.

5.3 Radioactive . . . Ions

This ashram presents another version of the transition from one reality to another - in this case, the transmutation of physical matter.

Starting with the simple hydrogen atom, atomic structure increases in size and weight, becoming heavier and heavier, until it is so heavy that it begins to disintegrate.

This is a transition in which energy is released and (if properly controlled) is available to do work.

Gamma radiation is dangerous to physical health

Of course, within this ashram we're not only dealing with physical radioactivity, but also with matters of spiritual radiation.
The principles are the same.

This level is affiliated with the Atmic plane, which is the old way of saying Atomic. A member of this ashram radiates spiritual energy and affects other people just as surely as if plutonium were involved.

This is Chokmah, and it must be understood that the Master of this ashram is located in a dimension that is far removed from the normal human mind, even in its abstract mode.

From time to time, that Master will overshadow, or inhabit, the dense physical body of his or her chosen vehicle. When observed by others, these revelations tend to be passed on in the form of anecdotes, legends, and myths.

5.4 Squelch. . . Noise Suppression

This ashram features the ability to suppress random noise.

In radio operations, the Squelch circuit suppresses low-powered or distant signals (background noise) and allows only higher-powered signals to be heard.

In terms of consciousness, this is the ability to suppress random (internal dialog) thoughts in favor of one-pointed concentration (dharana).

This internal dialog is known in different cultures as roof-brain-chatter, monkey-mind, and Choronzon.

If this Squelch circuit is effective, the internal dialog will be suppressed,
and a non-mental dhyana (meditation) will take place.

5.5 Radio. . . Higher Mind Reception and Transmission

This ashram features really high frequency communication through telepathy, clairaudience, channeling, interpretation of abstract symbols, and (sometimes) a one-to-one dialog with Angels, the Mothership, Masters, Ashtar Command, or the Sirius Star System.

In radio operations, a person can receive messages from a distant source,
and he or she can transmit messages - if there's a transmitter.

In this ashram, the two-way radio is in your mind.

In terms of consciousness, this is the ability to receive symbolic, or actual verbal, input from a long distance ...

or the deva (angelic) evolution.

5.6 QBL . . . "To Receive"

The Hebrew letters QBL.are long-spelled as Qabalah, both of which mean "To Receive."

This ashram specializes in the reception of knowledge through the Qabalah (QBL), the 7x7 Megatron, Dreamspell, the Tarot, or other similar systems that are based on numerical ratios and equivalencies.

These are physical-mental systems of Divination.

Through divination, we seek perception of hidden knowledge through organized, external systems.

Various systems include Astrology, Tarot, I Ching, Numerology, Dreamspell, Aura analysis, Megatron, Runes, Crystal Balls, Tea Leaves, etc.

Even a deck of common playing cards can be effective.

However, the ultimate form is direct perception without any intermediate apparatus. This would be pure clairvoyance or gnosis. See cubits 5.5 and 5.4.

These systems are operated through reading the signs or a chart and then looking up the meaning in a book, or remembering what the book said and drawing the meaning from memory.

Visions or impressions, if there are any, will usually be astral or lower-mental thoughtforms.

Applications of divinatory systems toward obtaining mundane profit or power tend to dilute the divinatory ability. That is, if you think it will help you at the horse races or in the stock market, you will probably be disappointed.

Numerology

There are 3 versions of numerical divination and analysis:

. - Mundane numerology, based on the numbers 1-to-9.
. . - The Atu of Tahuti, a Tarot/Chart system based on the numbers 1-to-22..
. . . - The full Qabalistic system (Sepher Sephiroth and 777, etc) with a 1-to-Infinity analysis
. . . . (although there seems to be an upward, practical limit somehere in the 2,000 - 3,000 range).

Creation appears to follow set patterns, at least below the Abyss (7x7 Grid rows 5, 6 and 7). These are the mathematical concepts of cause-and-effect that could be classified as numerical Karma.

QBL is valid below the Abyss (5.5 and down). In any 7x7 Grid row #4 or above (in any vertical Column), all concepts are truly valid only if they contain their opposites within them - and that throws a monkey wrench into numerological analysis.

Science does not necessarily preclude the solution of problems through mystical union (see: Einstein, Tesla, etc.). But such activity is found in cubits 5.5 and 5.4, for ...
